The Journey
I was out for coffee with some friends recently and passionately exclaimed "I want to make games!" in a discussion about our futures. And they asked "Why aren't you making games then?". I had a million answers and I had none. So with the jam approaching, I decided to make a game.
- I made a proof of concept! It's not a finished game, but I'm closer to making games now
- I made my first puzzle game! I've been watching puzzle design lectures for a while; it's as fun as I had imagined
- I found a youtube channel I like! DevPoodle makes awesome tutorials
- I went on nice walks next to the sea to think about my game. These experiences are priceless
- I didn't use any AI! It's been a while, it felt good
- I made my first pixel art (the Count)! It's difficult, but satisfying
- I explored PuzzleScript for this, even though I didn't end up using it. Reminded me of the joy of Prolog: 80% thinking, 20% writing. I might revisit it in the future
- I learned!!!
So I'll keep making more games. And when you're DOWN... the only way to go is UP :>

Loved the SFX, the size (hehehe) and the core idea (which I think is really well illustrated in the level)!
PS: I found out it’s also self-correcting without the need to restart! Butiful!
